Vocalizations

There is little information on the vocalizations of Black-bellied Hummingbird. The call is described as "a sharp, high-pitched tseep or peet" (Stiles and Skutch 1989), and it also gives "a high, tsittering in chases" (Stiles and Skutch 1989).

The song of Black-bellied Hummingbird is described as "a high, thin, sputtering warble" (Stiles and Skutch 1989).
