Diet and Foraging

There is very little information on the diet of Yellow-browed Toucanet. The stomach contents of three specimens were fruit (including small green fruit and pulp) and 4 mm white seeds (Collar et al. 1992). Toucanets also were seen feeding on a medium sized purplish fruit (Miconia?), and probing a cluster of Clusia flowers (Schulenberg and Parker 1997).
