Breeding
Introduction
Nest and eggs undescribed. Specimens in breeding condition were collected in northwestern Brazil in early January (Friedmann 1948), specimens with large gonads were collected in southern Venezuela in February (Willard et al. 1991), and fledglings were observed in eastern Ecuador in November (Greeney and Gelis 2007).
