Priorities for Future Research

Although White-browed Conebill has a relatively large distribution, and is fairly common (albeit within a narrow elevational band), the natural history of this species remains very poorly known. There is very little information reported on the diet and the reproductive biology of this species. Also worthy of study are demographic aspects of the biology of White-browed Conebill, such as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, territoriality and population density.
