Sounds and Vocal Behavior

The song of Tepui Tinamou is "a long (ca. 4 sec) high-pitched, pure tone whistle on [the] same pitch, [the] last half fading away" (Hilty 2003).

Nonvocal Sounds

None reported. The wings probably produce a whistling sound when the bird is flushed, as with other species of tinamou.
