Tachira Antpitta is unknown in life, and all aspects of its behavior remain undescribed. It presumably behaves in a similar fashion to other species of Grallaria, foraging on or very near the ground and remaining concealed in dense understory an.


There are no published data on territorial defense, maintenance, or fidelity for Tachira Antpitta.

Sexual Behavior

Not described, probably monogamous.

Social and interspecific behavior

Unknown in life, but presumably Tachira Antpitta is solitary or in pairs, as is the case with other species of Grallaria.


There are no reports of predation on Tachira Antpitta.
