Sounds and Vocal Behavior


Both the male and female Swallow-tailed Kite create the same high pitched screech sound, similar to "screeeeahh".  They are short in length and very shrill sounds, but very similar to most kites and falcons.

Nonvocal Sounds

There are no known nonvocal sounds made by the Swallow-tailed Kite.
