Diet

Little information. Haverschmidt (1968) reported snails in the diet (juveniles of Pomacea dolioides; Gastropoda, Mollusca) and a variety of insects: Hemiptera Heteroptera; Hemiptera Homoptera; Diptera (Brachycera); Coleoptera (Cuculionidae); and Odonata (Libellulidae: Erythemis sp.). Also eats spiders, small frogs and lizards (Stiles and Skutch 1989) and small crabs (Sick 1993).
