Priorities for Future Research

Stripe-tailed Hummingbird is common and widely distributed, but its natural history is very poorly known for such a widespread species. Very little is known about its foraging ecology, its breeding biology, and about demographic factors such as life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation.
