Sounds and Vocal Behavior


The song of the Silvery Tanager is described as "a series of rapidly given falling notes" (Lane, in Schulenberg et al. 2007). Calls include "a high wheezy descending tseer and a thin pit" (Lane, in Schulenberg et al. 2007).
