Priorities for Future Research

There are many areas of biology of the Silvery Tanager that need more detailed information. Breeding, reproduction, and population dynamics should be two main priorities for research. The nest, eggs, and young remain undescribed. Compared to closely related species, there is not much detailed information about history, molting, juveniles, and behavioral traits (e.g. territoriality and sexual behavior).
