Priorities for Future Research

Perhaps the highest research priority for the Ruddy Quail-Dove would be better understand its patterns of seasonal distribution across its wide range: how far do individual quail-doves move? Are the mass movements  reported from central Amazonia a widespread phenomenon, or are these movements restricted to this region of the Amazon? (And if so, why?)
