Pygmy Nightjar remains a very poorly known species,. There is very little known about the diet of this species. There also are no quantitative data on population density or population trends for this species, or information on such topics as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, molts, territoriality and density, and sexual behavior for Pygmy Nightjar.
