Sounds and Vocal Behavior


Usually silent in winter, but usually may emit soft, guttural calls between the groups during feeding. Long song, drawn-out, owiiil-ka, owiiilka, owiiilka. Also a sound similar to crow kraaaw, and aahaa like geese.
