Introduction

Inca Flycatcher is a striking songbird endemic to Peru. Found on the east slope of the Andes in Peru, the species inhabits lower levels of montane forest from 1700-2800 m. A small flycatcher, it is olive-brown above with rusty wing bars,  white- and gray-streaked face, gray throat with tawny olive breast and yellow underparts. Inca Flycatcher is typically found on its own rather than in mixed flocks, and is not known to be very vocal.
