Vocalizations

It emits varied chattering and nasal, bickering calls, also gives call in flight. A fairly dry chi-chi-rup chi-chip, a clipped, slightly nasal k-lik or ch-pik and k-li-lik, a clear, fairly sharp churiit or chu-liip, and ch-tuk, etc. Song a pleasant, fairly soft, warbled series of clucks with quiet, plaintive whistles thrown in.
