Adult male

Small warbler with gray upperparts, a yellow throat, and a yellow eyebrow. Note white wing bars and white outer tail feathers visible in flight.


Females are paler overall than males, but share the same features: gray back, 2 white wingbars, yellow eyebrow, and yellow throat.


Breeds in pine forests in the West. Gray above with a yellow eyebrow and throat. Tail flashes white in flight.
