Behavior
Introduction
Forages in flight, like other species of swallow. At times forage low over the ground (Gifford 1919).

Social and Interspecific Behavior
Little information. Apparently usually forages in small groups (Gifford 1919).
Predation
Little information. Beebe (1925) observed predation by the Galapagos Hawk (Buteo galapagoensis) on the Galapagos Martin. Introducted rats (Rattus) are suspected nest predators of the martin (BirdLife International 2010).
