Priorities for Future Research

Fulvous-chinned Nunlet has a wide geographic distribution, but is inconspicuous, and almost all aspects of its natural history remain poorly known. There is no information on its diet or foraging behavior, and only the most minimal on information on its breeding biology. Other research priorities for Fulvous-chinned Nunlet include demographic factors such as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, territoriality, and population density and regulation. Finally, there has been little work in the genetics and systematics of the genus Nonnula.
