Priorities for Future Research

More information needs to be gathered on the ecology of Flame-throated Warblers. Population indices need to be taken in order to fully understand the effects of forest degradation on warbler's food availability. There is no information on such topics as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, territoriality and population density, sexual behavior, and very little information molts and breeding in the Flame-throated Warbler.
