Conservation Status

Although population estimates have not been quantified, the Flame-throated Warbler is regarded as fairly common and not a threatened species. The distribution of this bird is in a small geographical area but habitat is not fragmented suggesting that this species is not of immediate conservation concern, and its conservation status is assessed as Least Concern (Bird Life International 2011).

Effects of human activity on populations

Human activity probably has little direct effect on the Flame-throated Warbler, other than the local effects of habitat destruction.
