Demography and Populations

This species is considered "fairly common" but "patchily distributed" relative to other Neotropical birds. Its center of abundance is the Hill Tropical elevational zone (Parker et al. 1996). There is no information related to topics such as age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation.
