Priorities for Future Research

Very little is known about the natural history of Dwarf Vireo. Particularly useful would be information on the diet of this species, a better understanding of its sensitivity to habitat degradation, and any information on topics such as territoriality, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, and additional details of the reproductive biology. The possibility that some populations may be migratory also merits further attention.
