Priorities for Future Research

Dusky Hummingbird is common but has a relatively wide geographic distribution in southern Mexico, but its natural history is very poorly known. Very little is known about its foraging ecology, its breeding biology, and about demographic factors such as life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation.
