Demography and Populations

Parasitism: The feather mite Cernyella howei has been found on the Double-striped Thick-knee (Mironov et al. 2001).

Disease: Rothschild and Panza (2005) found polyostotic lytic neoplasia on the skeleton of one Double-striped Thick-knee.
