Priorities for Future Research

Crowned Slaty Flycatcher is fairly common to common, and is very widely distributed, but aspects of its natural history remain poorly known for such a widespread species. Very little is known in detail about its diet. The breeding biology of Crowned Slaty Flycatcher is relatively well known, but there is less information regarding demographic factors such as life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation.
