Vocalizations

Little information. Descriptions of vocalizations of Coppery Metaltail include a "series of frail zeee calls, often alternating with ttrrrt notes" (Fjeldså and Krabbe 1990) and "a jerky, wiry chatter similar to [that of] Tyrian Metaltail [Metallura tyrianthina], but perhaps lower, less emphatic, with buzzier notes" (Lane, in Schulenberg et al. 2010).
