Priorities for Future Research

Very little is known about many aspects of the life history of Collared Cresentchest. Its diet is unknown, and there is very little information on its foraging behavior. Other important research priorities are to document its habitat requirements and the extent to which it can tolerate habitat disturbance, and to investigate demographic aspects of its biology (e.g., age at first breeding, life span and survivorship, dispersal, population regulation, territoriality and population density).
