Sections

The Coastal Miner has a wide distribution on the coastal plain of northern and central Peru. The miner occupies open - often barren - habitats, where it sometimes is found at  sites with little or no vegetation. Although the Coastal Miner is common, is easy to observe, and often is found near towns and villages, its natural history remains almost completely unknown.
