18 cm. 40 g. Iris brick-red, brighter in male. Base of lower mandible (sometimes both mandibles) horn-to fresh-color; legs gray. Top and sides of head and hindneck olive green to brown, variably streaked with back. Forehead and/or cheeks mixed with yellow

Similar Species

Streaked Flycatcher (Myiodynastes maculatus) has a yellowish line along the eye.
