Blue Cotinga Cotinga nattererii

Generally weak knowledge of breeding behavior of the Blue Cotinga as of present. Shallow-cup nests seem to be the "nest of choice". Females have been seen amassing nest material on Barro Colorado Island, Panama. Females alone are suspected to be responsible for nest building and tending of young. Clutch size is 2 (Del Hoyo, 2004).
