Black-hooded Sunbeam Aglaeactis pamela

  • Order: Caprimulgiformes
  • Family: Trochilidae
  • Monotypic
  • Authors: Thomas S. Schulenberg and Carolyn W. Sedgwick

The nest and eggs of Black-hooded Sunbeam are undescribed. Presumably the nest is a small cup in a shrub or low tree, and the clutch is two eggs (white, unmarked). Breeding is suspected to occur from September-March (Fjeldså and Krabbe 1990).
