D. l. egregia were moving with a mixed-species flock that included some other species of, Tachyphonus cristatus, Tangara chilensis, Tangara schrankii, and Tangara rnexicana.
Dacnis (lineata, cayana, fiavirenter) were moving with a mixed-species flock that included some other species of, Tachyphonus cristatus, Tangara chilensis, Tangara schrankii, and Tangara rnexicana. They have been observed in flocks with the Blue Dacnis (Dacnis cayana), Yellow-bellied Dacnis (D. flaviventer), Red-legged Honeycreeper (Cyanerpes cyaneus), and Paradise Tanager (Tangara chilensis) at forest edges and in plantations (Sick 1993).
