Diet

Biscutate swifts are aerial insectivores, but its diet has not been examined in detail; stomach contents in Brazil of the related, and often sympatric, White-collared Swift (Streptoprocne zonaris), included insects of the orders Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Homoptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, and Orthoptera (Schubart et al. 1965).
