Distribution in the Americas

It distributes only in Mexico in the State of Baja California Sur.

It is a common to frequent but local resident species, from central Baja California Sur to the south, from about 26 ° to 24 ° N, and in Cape District. The population size is estimated between 1000 and 2499 individuals and is declining.
