Beautiful Hummingbird is restricted to south central Mexico, and its natural history is not well known. There is little information available regarding the range of flowering plants visited by this species, and very little information on its reproductive biology. There also is no information regarding demographic factors such as life span and survivorship, dispersal, or population regulation for Beautiful Hummingbird.
