Rufous Antpitta Grallaria rufula

Sections

The Rufous Antpitta is widely distributed, found from western Venezuela south to central Bolivia. Some populations are less "rufous" than are others, but geographic variation in plumage is relatively minor. More noticeable is geographic variation in the songs of Rufous Antpitta - which probably will be shown to be a "species complex" rather than a single species.
