Predation

Scarlet Macaw chicks are predated in Guatemala by Collared Forest-Falcon (Micrastur semitorquatus) (Wildife Conservation Society Macaw Project Rony Garcia pers. comm.).  In the cavity videos show to me you can identify in several days the Collared Forest Falcons entering the nesting cavity and predate chicks at different ages from few days old to almost 6-7 weeks old.
