The Americas
It distributed in tropical and subtropical waters of Pacific Ocean.
It is considered a common species on breeding sites. It is an uncommon to frequent visitor (April - September) from Michoacán to Guatemala, also has been registered in Clipperton. Global population has been estimated in approximately 150,000 individuals.
